Position Type:
Full-Time | Onsite | 35 hours/week
Contract Dates:
ASAP - June 8, 2026
Compensation:
$62,000 - $88,000 annualized salary or $47-$71 hourly
About the Opportunity:
AnthroMed Education is seeking a fully licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support middle school students (grades 6-8) in Reading, PA for the school year.
With five middle schools across the district and diverse student needs, we'll work with you to align your placement with your clinical strengths and interests.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support adolescents in a critical stage of language and academic development within a supportive school-based team.
What You'll Do:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in grades 6-8
Address a wide range of needs including expressive/receptive language, fluency, pragmatics, and articulation
Support students with IEPs and in general education settings
Conduct evaluations and actively contribute to IEP development and meetings
Document services and progress using Embrace (IEP system)
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
Caseload Information:
Caseloads generally range from 50-60 students
Mix of mild to moderate communication needs
Opportunities may include support for students with autism, language processing disorders, and social-emotional communication challenges
Qualifications:
PA State SLP License
PA Educational Specialist Certificate
ASHA CCC-SLP
Prior school-based experience or strong interest in working with adolescents preferred
