    As the Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with engineering, manufacturing and other staff to understand and increase manufacturing capabilities, improve process flow, increase productivity and maximize work force utilization.

    You will be essential in the continuous improvement process and the overall efficient operation of the manufacturing facility.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.

    Confer with management, engineering and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, engineering specifications, process flow and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services.

    Determine how to manufacture parts or products to deliver services and maximize efficiency and productivity.
    Lead projects to improve OEE, including workforce productivity, equipment utilization, yield and cycle time improvements.
    Analyze new production specifications to determine equipment, tooling, processes and human resource requirements.
    Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
    Assist in financial planning and cost analysis.
    Collaborate in the resolution of production issues on a global basis.
    Design material flow and operations sequence including process simulation models when appropriate.


    Job Requirements:

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in an Industrial Engineering or related engineering discipline.
    Black Belt certification a plus.

    Experience:


    A minimum of five years of Industrial Engineering experience implementing/applying Lean, TOC, Six Sigma or other TQM process improvement methodologies in a manufacturing environment.


    Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques, Theory of Constraints, and traditional manufacturing practices.
    Experience successfully leading 5S and other Lean initiatives.
    Proficient in executing of time studies and evaluating value streams.
    Demonstrate proficiency in understanding product costing.
    Possess experience in Project Management.
