    We are seeking a new Certified Dietary Manager to join our team. Your role will be to lead all hospitality functions and staff in the Health Center Skilled Nursing dining areas.

    Daily duties will include assisting residents with menu selections, dining room meal service, tray assembly, tray delivery and special requests and needs.

    As a member of the Hospitality department, you will work with Dietary Aides, Cooks Executive Chef, and Dietitian, and report to our Director of Hospitality

    What You Will Do:
    Take an active role in the hiring, training, and development of all dietary aides.
    Assist in ensuring staff education is provided to dietary staff and provides on-the-job training
    Provide supervision of dietary staff including successful execution of service, staffing, scheduling, orientation, and performance management
    Develop work assignments for all Health Center dietary staff assigning specific jobs
    Complete weekly audits for Quality Assurance Measures
    Meet New Residents within 24 hours of first shift worked, after new admission to discuss meal service and complete new resident admission dietary questionnaire
    Contact the Dietician if unplanned or special therapeutic diets are ordered.
    Ensure Health Center Residents weekly menu selections are complete, meal tallies are accurate daily
    Keep net-Impact up to date with Health Center resident admissions and discharges including but not limited to diet changes, allergies, preferences, adaptive equipment, supplements, room changes
    Provide insight for Residents to the Executive Chef, assessing preferences are met with weekly rotating menus


    What You Will Bring:
    Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years working experience of dietary supervision in a skilled nursing or other medical facility, relevant field experience and the following credentials/skills:

    High School or GED
    CDM certification or Post-Secondary Courses in nutrition or related field
    Communication skills
    Teamwork
    Strong work ethic
    Empathy and Compassion
    Passion and Leadership skills
    Willingness to learn
    Active listening skills
    Computer skills
    Maintain Servsafe Certification or equivalent
    Work well under pressure
    Knowledge of infection control, OHSA, safety regulations
