    Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in a student's life? Soliant Education is currently seeking a dedicated School Nurse to provide personalized care for a 15-year-old male student near Watertown, MA. This position is available immediately and will extend into the summer and the 2024/2025 school year.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide one-on-one nursing care and support for a 15-year-old male student throughout the school day.
    • Accompany the student on the school bus and remain with them during all school activities.
    • Attend to the student's medical needs, including suctioning of a trach and managing a PEG tube.
    • Administer feedings to the student as required, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
    • Monitor the student's health status and respond promptly to any medical emergencies or concerns.

    Requirements:

    • Valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
    • Experience working with pediatric patients, preferably in a school or clinical setting.
    • Proficiency in trach care, suctioning, and PEG tube management.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing medical needs.

    Position Details:

    • Hours: 32.5 hours per week.
    • Start Date: Immediate placement.
    • End Date: June 14, 2024, with potential extension into the summer and the 2024/2025 school year.
    • Caseload: 1:1 nursing care for a 15-year-old male student.
    • Transportation: Nurse will ride the bus with the student and be with them throughout the school day.
