Role Description:
We are looking to fill two full time roles for Intermediate to Senior Engineers - Process & Mechanical. Being located in West Texas (Permian) area is preferred, however applicants located near the Eagle Ford basin (San Antonio) are also encouraged to apply. Roles are a mixture of remote work and field work.
The ideal candidate for this appointment would be a professional engineer who is highly regarded for their attention to detail, effective communication, pride, integrity and commitment. Although not mandatory, field experience would be an asset. We value the entrepreneurial mindset and hope to establish a long term relationship of challenges, rewards and balance.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
-Interpret project scope to develop DBM, cost estimate, schedule
-Field reconnaissance for detailed information, liaise with Operations
-Draft conceptual design, Plot Plans, PFD and PID
-Perform engineering calculations and specify for the design of oil and gas facility equipment and piping systems.
-Engage other engineering and project support disciplines for
discipline specific estimatesand design; Instrumentation, Electrical, Civil,
Process, Stress, Drafting
-Engage other engineering and project support disciplines for the commencement and completion of those associated project tasks.
-Review and revision of engineering drawings and BOM to completion; Plot Plan, PFD, PIDs, Iso, Piping Plans, Pile Layout, Structural
-Ensure codes and standards are being met
-Coordinate meetings, review points, scope, eng/design, P&ID, controls,
HAZOP, construction, construction kick-off
-Prepare routine project status updates
-Prepare project closure documentation and data
-Client correspondence
Essential Qualifications:
5+ years experience in small to mid-sized EPCM firms
Engineering or Project Management experience - conventional oil and/or natural gas facilities
Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
P.E. designation in Texas, other state P.E. licensing beneficial.
Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME B31.3 & Section
8, ASME B31.8, B31.4, API 2000, 6D, 12F, 521, 1110, NACE MR0175/ISO
15156, U.S. DOT Title 49 CFR 192/195, OH&S, EPA)
Experience with BRE ProMAX, VMGSym or HYSIS is beneficial
Excellent written, spoken and interpersonal
Excellent organizational skills: computer literacy, time management,
project planning & project deliverables
Excellence in Project Management: Scope, Cost Control, Delivery
Sound understanding of engineering principles
Ability to multitask, in both capacities of handling multiple jobs/projects, and beable to carry out multiple tasks and scalability within each project
Legal permission to work in the US - No work visas will be provided.
Ability to travel to site
Remuneration commensurate with experience.
