Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with experience in at least two of four key modalities — Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro — for a 13-week travel assignment at a short-term acute care facility.

Details

Short-term acute care hospital with 180 staffed beds
Cath Lab unit with potential to float to sister facilities within approximately 20 miles
4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Call is required on a case-by-case basis and will be discussed with the nurse manager
Weekend requirements can be discussed with the manager
Charting via Epic
Requirements

Minimum of 18 months of Cath Lab experience required; 2 years preferred
Experience in at least two of the following four modalities required: Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro — this must be clearly reflected in work history
AHA BLS and ACLS required
RCVT or RCIS certification preferred
Experience as a scrub technologist in a Cath Lab setting required
Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred
No pending licenses accepted — active licensure required; state license required if applicable
Two professional references required for consideration
Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

All requested time off must be submitted upfront, as RTO added after submission will likely not be approved
Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be prioritized immediately upon assignment confirmation
This is a smoke-free, nicotine-free facility — a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) is required
Ceil blue scrubs required
Parking is free in any unrestricted space

American Traveler Job ID #P Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
