**POSITION:**

Retail Sales Clerk in a clothing store hours a week between the hours of 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Saturday.

**MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**

1. Providing excellent customer service. Handling all transactions is a professional manner.

2. Become familiar with products and make recommendations based on the customers needs.

3. Mark and put away items, as needed, Stock store shelves, as required. Maintain store displays and store cleaning.

4. Develop proficiency in operating computerized Point of Sale (POS) and sales tracking system for all sales transactions, buys, returns, etc.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

1. Prior retail experience an asset but will train the right person.

2. Excellent customer service skills.

3. Ability to work well as a team member, accept constructive feedback, and follow directions.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**

1. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, up to 8 hours a day.

2. Lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance.

3. Able to operate a computerized sales terminal.

4. Candidates must be double vaccinated or have the intention of being double vaccinated.
