- Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling for patients of all ages.
- Assess and record patients' oral health conditions, taking X-rays as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on preventive care and education.
- Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques and home care.
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as required.
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Maintain detailed patient records and treatment notes.
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Current state dental hygiene license and CPR and local anesthesia certification.
- Proficiency in taking and analyzing dental X-rays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion and a genuine commitment to patient care.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection control.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
- Knowledge of current dental technology and software systems is a plus.
