    Job Summary:


    IMS is seeking a Data Analyst to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into production that leads to clear and strategic alignment with the organizational mission, vision, and goals of our client.

    The candidate will assist with developing courses of action and measuring progress towards their goals.

    The candidate will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing assistance with and/or leading systems analytic support to users, within organizations, senior leaders, and other DoD components helping to analyze data, predict trends, explore disparate and disconnected data sources and showcase information in multiple formats; and also capture, process, and organize data that offers actionable insights (forecasting) to meet the needs of the organization and create immediate improvements.

    Responsibilities
    Collaborate and operate virtually with diverse audiences to interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports and translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms with stakeholders to assess and mitigate potential risks
    Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
    Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
    Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
    Filter and "clean" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
    Maintain knowledge of client mission, goals and objectives, functions, organization, work processes, and program areas
    Prioritize and align Analytics projects to support and meet client needs
    Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
    Build and maintain Dashboards to enhance client communication/response capabilities
    Establish and maintain contacts with government, business, and industry professionals

    Required Skills:
    Proven ability to coordinate with stakeholders and collaborate with other team members
    Excellent verbal/written communication skills
    Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
    Strong attention to detail and organization skills
    Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
    Strong knowledge of and experience with Business Analytics Software (i.e. Tableau) and Microsoft Tools (attention to detail and accuracy Office, Power BI, Power Query) Tableau,
    Experience with Predictive Modeling Systems
    Knowledge of programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
    Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)
    Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
    Working knowledge or understanding of UI-Path; ACL- ACL Analytics
    Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R

    Qualifications:
    BSin Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics or related field from an accredited college/university required
    3-6 years working experience as a data analyst, business data analyst, or similar position with the required skills
    3+ Years' experience with Virtualization Software
    3-5+ Years' experience with Microsoft Server operating systems
    Meets U.S. citizenship and work eligibility requirements for federal contractors
    Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) Secret level clearance, if required
