    Job Summary

    Responsible for providing executive-level guidance for
    MEMBERS ONLYSIGN UP NOW***. Cable Advertising Accounting activities as well as leadership and direction for Accounting team. Develops and implements sound internal controls, systems and procedures. Identifies growth opportunities, develops long-term strategic plans and ensures that organizational objectives align with this strategy.

    Job Description


    Core Responsibilities:
    Oversees all functions of the Accounting department including policies, procedures, internal controls, external/internal audits

    Provides leadership and direction to the Accounting staff by setting goals, objectives, performance criteria and departmental standards.

    Generates and distributes monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting. Reviews and analyzes monthly financial statements and explains variances to budget, forecast and prior year.

    Liaison with HQ Accounting and Functional teams on close and accounting matters, CIFA projects, International COE initiatives, etc.

    Accounting point of contact for acquisitions/business ventures that impact Advertising.

    Roll-out policy changes/updates/compliance matters to Advertising.

    Stays abreast of legal, regulatory and policy developments and audits guidelines affecting areas of responsibility; enforces legal and regulatory requirements impartially; reviews financial reporting for compliance with GAAP.

    Ownership of Advertising franchise fee reporting including methodology, template development/updates and related workflows, tax matters.

    Continual assessment and refinement of accounting workflows for standardization, consistency, automation, etc

    Participate in monthly forecast calls with business

    Review customer & vendor contracts and advise on accounting treatment, develop supporting analysis, etc.

    Serve as liaison with Legal for Advertising

    Participate in projects for assessment of accounting and internal control impacts.

    Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

    Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    This job can be performed in New York City, with a Pay Range of $244,543.44 USD - $366,815.16 USD

    Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
