Job summary
Analyze and interpret blueprint specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions tolerances of finished work pieces sequence of operations setup requirements Plan machine set ups program necessary information into control system position work piece operate various CNC machine through production runs to form specified quantities of piece parts to specified tolerances Monitor machine functions to ensure that parts are manufactured to defined specifications Perform first piece inspections make necessary adjustments to machines as required Complete first piece inspection documents as required Organize workload maximize material flow process Communicate with managers engineers production control quality other shop personnel for assignments resolve quality issues Perform inspection preventative maintenance ensure machines operating optimally Maintain neat orderly work area complying all 5S initiatives Follow safety personal protective equipment requirements Ability input scan work order data into MRP/JDE system using RF scanner keyboard mouse Follow procedures processes build defect-free product Complete in-process inspection repair defects found electronically process rejected parts accordance established procedureJob description
