- Direct corporate and departmental training programs' design, planning, and implementation and monitors and evaluates their effectiveness
- Define operating objectives and training plans to meet the organization's short and long-term goals and actively search for, creatively design, and implement effective methods to educate and enhance staff performance
- Assess company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identify and arrange suitable training solutions for employees.
- Oversee education programs and staff development by providing mentorship, professional support, and professional development
- Perform other duties, as needed
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a high-level training manager
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing personnel
- Knowledge of home care, PACE, or other Healthcare-related programs
- Familiarity with the methods and principles for designing programs to teach, train, and instruct both groups and individuals, including the means of assessing the effects of training
- Experience in or knowledge of recruitment and selection of personnel, labor relations, negotiation, training, and personnel information systems
- Ability to lead and motivate others, develop project plans with corporate-wide impact, and work in team groups
- UAS Assessment knowledge
- Experience working for or in long-term care or a managed care setting
- Proven strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skill
- Strong relationship-building skills
