- Effectively communicate with staff and public.
- Ability to resolve customer service issues with adults and children.
- Transport self to and from various sites and terrains.
- Monitor supplies.
- Participate in training and teaching of recreational players, coaches, officials, and parents.
- Ensure that all proper checklists and documents are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Officiate youth sports games and know the rules to the game officiating.
- Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations involved with building.
- Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relationships with the Family Fitness Center personnel, management, vendors, and service providers.
- Assist with cleaning and custodial duties.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Basic general knowledge of sports gained by playing, officiating, or coaching is preferred.
- Attentive to detail.
- Able to follow directions and work well independently.
- Ability to maintain courteous, effective relations with patrons, coaches, and members of the public.
- General sports knowledge gained by playing, officiating, or coaching preferred, training will be provided.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
- Spanish (preferred).
- Run/stand for at least 4 hours.
- Talk to adults/coaches & children.
- Manage time.
- Multitask.
- Deal with weather conditions.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; run; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- The employee may occasionally be required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud when in various facility areas or outside.

Ensure all participants understand and comply with game rules and assess penalties when needed. Make game calls with confidence and knowledge of league rules. Keep track of event start times and start or stop play as necessary. Make sure the teams have the appropriate equipment and inspect both players and equipment for any issues.
Must be 16 years old or older.
Starting Pay
$8.65 to $10.65 per hour DOE
