    Job Description Join the BAE Systems team as a Security Coordinator.

    The position scope will focus primarily on administrative support in a fast-paced office environment requiring an organized multitasker with the ability to support multiple stakeholders to include Facility Security Officers (FSO) and other coworkers and customers as needed.

    The successful candidate will be a self starter and able to manage multiple priorities with strong written and oral communication skills required to support customers, senior management, employees, program managers, FSOs, and other vital staff.

    Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

    • Review, assign, and monitor clearance cases, project access requests, and prescreens for multiple locations throughout the Company's sectors
    • Maintain termination reports, schedule briefings and debriefings and attend to faxes
    • Provide clearance processing support to a large contractor with multiple facility clearances
    • Process clearance reinstatements, initial clearances, periodic reinvestigations, and become fully aware of the clearance life cycle for multiple site locations throughout the company utilizing security databases
    • Request, validation, and review of security forms SF85 and SF86
    • Maintain database records and triage files within the department as well as run automated linking system. Data integrity support is a critical function of this position
    • Attend meetings as required. Answer and direct calls and assist visitors
    • Analyze and prepare statistical department data with another coworker such as monthly stats, quarterly stats, and processing times
    • Provide general administrative support and other duties as assignedWork hours are M-F; 8 am - 5 pm with hybrid work schedule option Required Education, Experience, & Skills High school diploma and three years comparable work experience or equivalent experience required. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of two years directly related task experience in an administrative role (preferably in a comparable business environment), strong written and oral communication skills, strong organizational skills, and be a self starter. High proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Local travel may be required. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Working knowledge of Defense Information Systems for Security (DISS) and Security Information Management Systems (SIMS). Interim or final Secret (or higher) security clearance. Pay Information

    Full-Time Salary Range:
    $ $91300 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.

    However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
    business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience
