    We are looking for a Center Director passionate about working with young children to join our amazing team and lead our committed teachers. With a total of 11 classrooms and children ranging from 4 months to 2nd grade our state-of-the-art facility will need a strong Center Director who can help with the introductory setup on the facility as well as continual care for our teachers and families. The center hours are from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday and this is a 12-month program. As a Center Director, you will have the chance to inspire teachers, support and connect with children and their families, and be prepared for everyday challenges that will arise within the facility.

    As a Center Director at The Brunswick School you will,
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the center while demonstrating exceptional professional conduct and consideration for the educational development, safety and welfare of the children and staff
    • Hire, train and supervise your teaching staff
    • Manage staff attendance through the review of timecards, PTO requests and punch change requests
    • Expectation to manage the health and safety of all staff and students. Ensuring proper protocols were put in place to avoid these accidents/ injuries and were proper responses carried out following these accidents or injuries.
    • Oversee accuracy and details of daily reports
    • Ensures short-term and long-term goals and priorities are communicated and well understood
    • Work closely with families to ensure we are providing the highest quality care and education for every child
    • Collaborate with center owner to establish center budgets and meet budget requirements
    • Create and develop strong parent and staff relationships that result in a high rate of retention and referrals by communicating with parents on school, child and/or staff issues
    • Demonstrate the ability to work independently in all matters concerning daily and weekly center evaluations, accident/incident reports and other requested reporting such as staff and children's records, lesson plans, and daily sheets
    • Maintain confidentiality in dealing with all company information including: policies, procedures, student, parent and staff records and conversations
    • Achieve center enrollment goals by completing and processing potential lead forms, building community relationships and generating enrollment through participation in local organizations, events, and marketing
    • Fully understand and ensure proper implementation of the curriculum by age group
    • Oversee all tuition payments, invoicing, and reporting for families
    • Must ensure compliance of all state and local educational and licensing requirements, policies, and procedures
    • Conduct tours for prospective parents while adhering to policies and procedures.
    • Work marketing events; marketing events are held during the school day, after school hours, or on weekends.
    Qualifications

    Center Director Qualifications:
    • Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
    • 5+ years of management/leadership experience in a childcare program, preschool, or elementary school with previous supervisory experience.
    • Must meet state educational and licensing requirements for director; additional center/school requirements may apply and physical and background checks as required by the state and company regulations.
