We are assisting an organization it finding a Java/J2EE Developer to join their team this actually could be a once in a life time opportunity for the right individual.

As a Java/J2EE developer you with have the opportunity of designing and developing new features to support the needs fo the corporation.

The other engineers use Java, SQL, Ionic, Oracle Cloud and Glassfish to manage our current platform.

Since this is an aggressively thinking organization they are always ready to adopt the latest and greatest when it comes to new technologies.

You will also find yourself Writing complex ETL jobs and processes to import and transform data into easily analyzed datasets.

As a Software Developer you will also find yourself extending and improving existing system services and software components.

From time to time you will identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, working at the Linux command prompt and identify challenges at all levels of the stack.

Since you will take ownership of what you develop from time to time you will find yourself supporting the application (JavaSE, JavaEE, JPA, SQL, Linux, Networking, maintenance and operations of a live cluster).

Requirements

Solid knowledge of the JavaSE and JavaEE technologies, ideally experience in a production environment.

5+ years of experience writing with the Java technology stack with specific focus on the EJB, JTA, JPA.

5+ years of experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP).

Experience with HTTP, SSL, REST, JSON, XML and direct socket communications.

Solid knowledge of PL/SQL, ANSI/SQL.

Experience with networking, operating system and shell scripting.

Experience with high-volume, high-performance, enterprise software systems.

Knowledge of Oracle Service Bus (SOA).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Facility with version control (git), and knowledge of modern software development practices and tool belt (e.g. Build and Test, Continuous Integration, Agile).

The ability to clearly articulate questions and create design specifications.

Nice to have's

Working experience with WebLogic 11 or higher
