    Description
    Title: Marketing AssistantSalary: $23.00 to $27.00 hourly

    Job Purpose:

    Responsible for assisting in coordination of special events, marketing programs and efforts for the company's retail portfolio to include other portfolio properties and corporate events. Supports the marketing plan through branding, marketing collateral, website, communications, community and media relations, social media, events and general administration. Position reports to the Marketing Director.

    Duties:
    • Assists with development, promotion and implementation of all SD retail special events to include oversight and recap of events (some weekends and evenings will be necessary).
    • Assists with marketing support for retail properties located outside of San Diego (no travel necessary).
    • Assists with corporate and/or other property events as needed.
    • Prepares License Agreements for special events/operations and oversees COI to event completion.
    • Supports the Marketing Department to maintain AAT, retail and company brands, products, tenant and corporate messaging and consistency by applying or producing marketing templates and/or materials to include flyers, signage, merchant and corporate newsletters, directory brochures, leasing brochures, site and floor plans and other promotional materials as needed.
    • Supports the Marketing Department and assists with retail advertising, branded collateral, presentations, flyers, brochures and site plans, websites and social media and other special projects.
    • Assists with coordination for changes, corrections and updates to the retail, office and corporate websites.
    • Assists with social media postings for the retail portfolio to include research, photos/video as needed to support day-to-day postings, special events within the specified work day.
    • Collects marketing information and prepares a variety of ongoing marketing and administrative reports.
    • Involved with the day-to-day operations of supporting the Marketing Department and performs other related duties as assigned.
    • Composes and prepares routine correspondences and emails.
    • Skills/Qualifications: Proficient in oral, written and organizational communication skills, customer service and customer relations, diplomacy and professionalism, meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work with multiple departments and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Computer Literacy in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Adobe Acrobat and Illustrator.
