The County of Monterey Public Works Facilities Parks Department seeks to fill a current Engineering Technician vacancy The duties include preparing plans specifications for routine maintenance or construction projects serving as resident engineer on minor projects or assistant resident engineer on more complex projects conducting assigned phase s of the traffic engineering program such as correctional analysis classification studies or maintenance of the records for maintained mileage of County roads performing project alternative feasibility analysis maintaining engineering records providing information assistance to the public may be required to prepare work orders coordinate budgeting activities- Methods practices techniques equipment field office engineering work inspection public works projects survey work
