    Job Description


    We are seeking skilled Med-Surg Registered Nurses to join our Medical Surgical/Oncology unit. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in inpatient settings and be comfortable providing care to patients with various medical and surgical diagnoses, including those with oncology histories.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide care for patients with general medical-surgical diagnoses and oncology histories.
    • Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy as needed.
    • Manage and care for patients with various medical devices and drains.
    • Float to similar units and alternate care locations as required.
    • Participate in monthly staff meetings and ongoing education.

    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

    • A minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg experience required.
    • Oncology Certification required; the ability to administer chemotherapy is essential.
    • BLS certification is required.
    • Experience with colostomy care, blood product administration, central line management, and other nursing skills specified in the full job description.
    • CPI and Charge Nurse experience preferred.
