    Description

    Job Title: Application Developer

    Company: E-volve Technology Systems, Inc.

    • Location: Reston, VA
    • Security Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI CI Poly

    Position Description: E-volve Technology Systems is looking for a junior-mid level Developer to work on an Intelligence Community program. The Developer will be part of a small team focusing on web database development, testing, and modernization with a back-end emphasis.

    The Developer will be involved in supporting scalable architecture, code complexity, and object-oriented languages to enhance reusability and maintainability. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a developer to collaborate with teammates and overcome unique challenges.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop scalable applications and backend services using software design patterns
    • Create and monitor system design patterns and tiered architecture
    • Test products, system architecture, and designs
    • Provide direction, analyze requirements, participate in code reviews
    • Enforce standards and best practices

    Education and qualifications:

    • U.S. citizenship
    • Current TS/SCI security clearance and CI polygraph
    • Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of a degree
    • 3+ years of object-oriented programming
    • PHP and SQL experience
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • DoD compliance at IAT Level I (Security+ or similar)
    • Experience with PostgreSQL, Python, and Perl a plus
    • Ability to read scripts and analyze applications for modernization
    • Availability for on-site support in Reston
