    Converge Resources is seeking a motivated Industrial / OT Network Engineer to join our client's OT Networking team.

    The ideal candidate will have excellent OT Network troubleshooting skills, experience with Servers, Workstations, Routers/Switches, and Firewalls, and understand OT production environments.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    2+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) networks
    Hands-on experience with Industrial/OT hardware, including Cisco, Dell, or Hirschmann routers, switches, and firewalls
    Proficiency in VMware or Windows server administration, including domain configuration and management
    Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, SNMP, and VLANs
    Experience with industrial cybersecurity best practices, standards, and frameworks (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443)
    Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues in high-pressure environments
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
    Willingness to travel offshore for extended periods

    Responsibilities:


    Design, deploy, and maintain ICS/OT network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware components, to support critical oil and gas operations.

    Implement and maintain security measures to protect ICS/OT networks from cyber threats and vulnerabilities, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, network segmentation, and access control policies.

    Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure continuous operation of critical systems.
    Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

    Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for ICS/OT networks, including backup and restore procedures, failover configurations, and recovery testing.

    Coordinate with equipment vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software, and support services.
    Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance network performance and security.
    Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, topology diagrams, and operational procedures.
    Generate regular reports on network performance, security incidents, and compliance status.
    Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and operational staff on ICS/OT network best practices, procedures, and security protocols.
    Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and contribute to the development of internal training materials.
