Mail Carrier Position

The Postal Service is the largest government agency in terms of employees, employing nearly 1 million people. This position involves selling stamps, taking incoming mail, sorting and distributing mail among other clerical tasks.

About The Job

This role assists customers with mailing needs such as change of address forms and mail holds.

Work Environment

The job setting varies from retail locations to mail distribution centers. Over 30,000 post office locations operate under the postal service umbrella.
The vehicle fleet totals over 200 thousand vehicles making it one of the world's largest fleets.

Labor services offer private employment assistance but are not affiliated with USPS operations.
A total of 170 billion pieces of correspondence are delivered each year,
involving an average delivery point for approximately 142 million recipients eagerly awaiting their daily packages.
Deliveries range from envelopes to large cargo boxes,
giving numerous opportunities within this vast industry domain.'
