    Spherion Richmond a national recruiting and staffing enterprise that brings the power of local to our job seekers and employers through a network of independent and empowered franchise owners, is hiring internally for a Business Development Manager.

    Our Business Development Managers are responsible for generating new business through direct client contact, cold calling, selling our temporary services, developing accounts, and driving results.

    We are seeking candidates with a solid sales background as well as critical thinking, strong communication, resilience, and a winning attitude.


    Responsibilities:

    Establish and execute a business development planBuild strong relationships with hiring managers and create a business partnership Identify prospects that will be in a stronger position when they are doing business with SpherionBuild relationships with prospective clients through office visits, presentations, and negotiationsListen to diagnose the workforce gaps that are limiting a client's potentialUtilize strategic practices and market analysis to uncover revenue opportunitiesResponsible for increasing the number of qualified hiring contacts in the databaseMaximize existing relationships by engaging clients as their primary touchpoint Negotiate pricing to ensure maximum return on quality solutionsUse a combination of tech and touch approaches that require exceptional documentationOffer innovative and creative employment solutionsProvide services that consistently delight our clients and employeesWorking hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:Bachelor's degree preferredPrior Business Development in the employment or staffing industryEducation:AssociateExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:What you need to bring:2+ years of business to business sales, outside sales, or staffing experienceBachelor's degree preferredAbility to develop long-lasting relationshipsAgility to fully leverage all processes and technology tools to more productively deliver resultsStrong interpersonal communication and influencing skillsAbility to make decisions, take direction, and execute a planProven track record of delivering results in a metrics-driven environmentPlease upload your resume at as soon as possible as the first step in the process.
