    Career Opportunity:

    Olympic Dermatology & Laser Clinic is looking to hire a Certified Medical Assistant If you are looking for an organization committed to its patients, employees, and the community, come join our team Olympic Dermatology & Laser Clinic is an established and growing private practice located in Olympia, Washington. We are committed to helping our patients achieve their goals and we have a long-standing reputation for providing exceptional care.

    This position requires a Washington State license. The ideal candidate is a "people-person" who can multi-task, is detail oriented, and learns quickly. We operate in a very fast-paced environment so great organizational skills and adaptability are a must The candidate should have excellent communication skills with an outstanding professional presentation, while assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under direction of the Physician or Physician Assistant. This position works approximately 32 hours per week (.80 FTE). We offer an attractive rotating schedule that works every third Saturday, creating a mini 5-day vacation.

    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    · Rooming patients

    · Assisting providers with exams and surgical procedures

    · Prescription refill requests

    · Preparing exam rooms for office visits and surgical procedures

    · Scheduling appointments and addressing patient phone calls appropriately

    · Providing patient education and post-operative care instructions

    · Suture removals and wound checks

    · Maintaining a professional attitude and attire at all times

    Benefits:

    Required Qualifications:

    Must be a licensed Washington State Certified Medical Assistant. One to two years related experience and/or training required. Must have exceptional customer service skills, be highly organized, self-motivated and very detail oriented.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Dermatology experience and electronic medical records preferred.

    Competitive base pay: $21.67- $29.28 hourly, dependent on relevant qualifications, plus an excellent benefits package

    • The ranges above allow our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increases during their tenure in the position.
    • The target range for qualified new hires is typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant's pay history into account.
