    Job Summary
    Manages Network Infrastructure Management. Manages troubleshooting and support, including providing expert-level support for network-related issues and other IT system issues, ensuring quick resolution. Manages Security Compliance, including enforcing and maintaining DOD security protocols to safeguard the network infrastructure and sensitive information. Maintains accurate and up-to-date information on network configuration, system updates, contact lists, and IT procedures.

    Manages mobile device management, including serving as backup administrator to ensure all mobile phones are up-to-date with the latest software, security patches, and configurations.

    Manages Conference Room Renovation, including providing support and working with the project team to ensure connectivity.

    Manages JWICS reconfiguration, including providing support and working with project teams to reposition existing JWICS clients to support JIATF West's realignment.

    Supports INDOPACOM in establishing end-to-end encryption between buildings. Manages IT Hardware Troubleshooting and connections (Cabling / Media Converters)Network Infrastructure Management. Manages troubleshooting and support, including providing expert-level support for network-related issues and other IT system issues, ensuring quick resolution. Manages Security Compliance, including enforcing and maintaining DOD security protocols to safeguard the network infrastructure and sensitive information. Maintains accurate and up-to-date information on network configuration, system updates, contact lists, and IT procedures.

    Telework is not supported. Travel is required.
    Qualifications and Skills
    Required knowledge and years of experience

    Must have at least five (5) years of providing technical and direct support as a Network Engineer supporting DOD network infrastructure.

    Must have at least five (5) years of experience managing IT systems infrastructure and related processes.

    Must have at least five (5) years of experience with the JWICS network, including account creation, workstation and server installation, server maintenance, network equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting of network issues and JWICS outages.

    Must have at least five (5) years of experience with DISA, NSA, ONI HOPPER, Special Access Program services, and support processes.

    Must have at least three (3) years of experience conducting IT training for personnel. Must have at least three (3) years experience with JWICS-DVTC (Tandberg) technical and administrative functions.
