Patient Care Coordinator - McMurray, PAHearing Health Connection, part of Alpaca Audiology
Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) works closely with the clinical staff to ensure patients are provided with quality care and service.
By partnering with the Healthcare Professionals onsite, the PCC can provide support to referring physicians and patients. The PCC will schedule appointments, verify insurance benefits and details, and assist with support needs within the clinic.As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will:
Place outbound calls to current and former patients for the purpose of scheduling follow-up hearing tests and consultations and weekly evaluations for the clinic
Process repairs under the direct supervision of a licensed Hearing Care Professional
Prepare bank deposits and submit daily reports to finance
Clean and maintain equipment and instruments
Submit equipment and facility requests
General office duties, including cleaning
Manage inventory, order/monitor stock, and submit supply orders as needed
Assist with event planning and logistics for at least 1 community outreach event per month
Strong relationship building skills with patients, physicians, clinical staff
Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
Work Experience:
2+ years in a health care environment is preferred
