    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    • Shelter Worker to work the following shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (overnight).
    • Part time and Full time available

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Ensure a safe environment and smooth operation of the Client Guest Services department, to include, shelters, day center, welcome center, and front desk.
    • Interact with guests in the shelter environment and residents in the supportive housing areas.
    • Provide hospitality with compassion while being firm in enforcing the guidelines for operations that are safe and secure for all.
    • Coordinators are also responsible for organizing activities with regular volunteers.
    • Coordinate with Guest Services Supervisors to encourage and promote a safe environment, conducive to healthy living, as well as ensuring smooth operation of all facilities.
    • We have swing shift and graveyard shifts currently available

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Ability to work swing shift or graveyard shift
    • Customer Service Experience
    • Light Phone Skills
    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
    • Ability to work with a diverse population
    • Ability to oversee or perform daily operation of shelter tasks
    • Other duties as assigned
    • Ability to pass a drug screen
