The Administrative Nursing Supervisor is primarily responsible for administering nursing operations within The James Cancer Hospital and Research Institute during off-shift hours including weekends and holidays.Responsibilities
- Supervising the immediate care of our patients on a given tour of duty, which includes making rounds to all patient care areas.
- Obtains report from the charge nurse and is knowledgeable of current patient status.
- Supervises the personnel of the nursing department on duty and contributes to evaluation of nursing personnel, recommends personnel action to the appropriate nurse manager including disciplinary actions and/or terminations.
