Are you a rising Junior or Senior Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Student looking for a "hands on" summer work experience? The Summer Engineering Intern will work with the Stryten Energy, Salina, KS engineering team to help design and test electronic hardware and software for transportation power systems.

They will work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assist in the development of products and systems for a wide range of applications.

The internship will begin in May of 2024 and end in August 2024 and will be full time (40 hours a week).

This is a paid opportunity but housing is not provided so you must have both housing and transportation.

Help design and test electronics for new products and sustain existing products.
Collaborate with the electrical, mechanical and software engineering teams.
Design and build test fixtures, harnesses and test software
Conduct experimental tests, analyze test data, and write test reports.

University enrollment towards a BS degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or mechanical engineering, with at least two years of coursework completed.

Must have housing in the area and transportation
Experience with high voltage and high power electronics considered an asset.
Experience working with product and engineering technical specifications and product performance test procedures or plans.
Ability to work under limited supervision.
Office work environment, occasional manufacturing environment
Some travel may be required between Stryten facilities and third-party contract manufacturing.
