- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care
- Actively promote medication safety
- Promote rational cost-effective use of medications
- Prepare and dispense medications
- Provide drug information
- Monitor patient drug therapy
- Collaborate with other caregivers to optimize pharmaceutical care
- Participate in training and development of staff
- Assist in the continued advancement of pharmaceutical care services
- Provide professional services and leadership to the Department and Community
- Work with management to improve pharmaceutical care and services
- Assume essential responsibilities of pharmacy supervisor/manager when needed
- Develop as a role model through dedication to professionalism
- Bachelor's Degree in pharmacy from ACPE accredited school - required
- Doctorate Degree in pharmacy from ACPE accredited school - required
- Experience in health system pharmacy practice - preferred
- Demonstrated basic working knowledge of pharmacy practice
- PHARMD - Licensed Pharmacist Current NYS Pharmacy License - required
