    __POSITION SUMMARY:


    AT PARK TERRACE, THE HOUSEKEEPER KEEPS THE COMMUNITY IN A CLEAN AND SANITARY CONDITION, PROVIDING A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT THAT CONTRIBUTES TO THE CARE AND WELFARE OF RESIDENTS AND GUESTS.

    THE HOUSEKEEPER DELIVERS EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND PROMOTING A WARM, SECURE AND FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. THE LAUNDRY AIDE ENSURES A SUPPLY OF CLEAN LINENS AND LAUNDRY FOR COMMUNITY RESIDENTS.


    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


    Clean assigned apartments, community rooms, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other areas of the community thoroughly and efficiently.

    Carry linens, towels and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts and/or hand-held carriers.
    Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
    Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
    Replenish bathroom supplies as necessary.
    Change bed linens.
    Wash windows, walls, ceilings and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
    Spot clean carpets when necessary.

    Assist with resident and community laundry as directed (depending upon community).Display ability to comfortably work near and around residents pets (dogs, cats, birds, etc.)Perform resident and community laundry needs upholding high standards of customer service.

    Look for ways to reduce costs and create efficiencies on a daily basisPerform other related duties as required.
