Position Overview/

Project Details:
We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills with heavy Epic knowledge.

They need to have operational experience in HOSPITAL revenue cycle (includes Patient Finance, HIM, Access) with experience in Access preferred.

Our team typically has Epic certifications, but we are not looking for someone with only IT experience, without operational hands-on experience in revenue cycle, we will not consider the resource for interview.

We also will not consider resources with physician office experience; it must be hospital experience.

This resource will be responsible for participating in operational meetings with revenue cycle departments to identify areas of opportunity either technically or operationally.

The resource will be able to document workflows in Visio that include both operational and technical views. They will be able to create training documentation and power point presentations to provide to leadership.

They will be able to interact with our IT department to obtain detailed build information then review and distill down what options and opportunities are available.

They will also be able to review and analyze denial information from payers and identify root causes and performance improvement opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

3 years in Revenue Cycle operations

Project Management Experience Preferred

Epic certifications in revenue cycle functions preferred

Minimum Education

Bachelor's preferred

Location (If remote, list as so):

Remote, no travel

Must be able to work PST hours

Schedule

8-5pm PST

Will work with - 4pm if resource is outside of PST
