    About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leasing Consultant to join our team in the Northern Virginia Region. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents and prospective residents, while also achieving leasing goals and maintaining high occupancy rates. You will be the first point of contact for all leasing inquiries and will be responsible for conducting property tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that our residents are satisfied with their living experience and that our properties are fully leased.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 1+ years of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
    • Experience with Yardi or other property management software
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet and welcome prospective residents to the property, providing them with a tour of the community and available units
    • Process rental applications, conduct credit and background checks, and prepare lease agreements
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leasing activity, including traffic, leasing status, and market surveys
    • Assist with resident retention programs and initiatives, ensuring that residents are satisfied with their living experience
    • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the property and surrounding area, including local schools, shopping, and entertainment options

    Skills:

    As a Leasing Consultant, you will utilize your exceptional communication and customer service skills on a daily basis. You will also need to be highly organized and detail-oriented, as you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all leasing paperwork is completed accurately and on time. Additionally, you will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software will be essential to your success in this role.
