A leading acute care hospital located in southern New Jersey is now seeking an experienced Nurse Director Surgical Services to join their award-winning healthcare team.
This renowned medical center is home to 250+ inpatient beds and supports a medical staff of nearly 3,000 healthcare professionals.
This location offers various clinical specialties including maternal fetal medicine, emergency and critical care, surgical services, cardiovascular and pulmonary care, neurology, and diagnostic services.
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Director Surgical Services will provide clinical and administrative leadership to the pre-admission testing, operating rooms, post-operative care, and central sterile processing units.
Responsibilities include development and management of department budgets, develop and monitor departmental policies and procedures, lead the training and continued education of staff, ensure quality patient care that adheres to all state and federal regulatory standards, and represent the surgical services line within various hospital committees.
What's Needed to Succeed:
Registered Nurse RN licensed in the state of New Jersey or ability to obtain
Progressive nursing leadership experience in perioperative setting
Expert knowledge of surgical nursing procedures and standards
