At Oconomowoc Landscape Supply and Garden Center, we specialize in providing high-quality landscape materials to both residential and commercial customers. Our team is dedicated to excellent customer service, quality products, and timely deliveries. We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Seasonal Landscape Delivery Drivers to join our team during our busy season.
Job Description:
As a Seasonal Landscape Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting landscape materials such as soil, mulch, stone, plants, and other landscaping products to customer locations. You will ensure that all deliveries are made on time, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining the integrity of the products being delivered.
This is a great position for college students, retired individuals, and those looking for spring/ summer employment opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles to transport landscape materials.
Ensure all items are delivered in good condition.
Navigate to various job sites while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
Maintain an organized and clean vehicle, performing routine inspections and minor maintenance tasks as needed.
Communicate effectively with the sales counter and the team to coordinate delivery schedules.
Assist with warehouse or yard duties as needed during slower periods.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, CDL is not required but is a bonus
Previous experience as a delivery driver is not required, we will teach you.
Landscaping experience a plus.
Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) and handle physical tasks.
Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious approach to driving and handling materials.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility with work hours, including weekends and occasional overtime, depending on delivery schedule.
