Job Overview

The position requires working individually or with a small team to execute customer projects in motorsports, automotive, defense, and commercial industries.

This role involves the layout and fabrication of metal weldments and assemblies. The welder/fabricator will execute work orders, process material accordingly, and use drawings, specs, and/or verbal instructions to plan and accomplish goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficient in both MIG and TIG welding of thin gauge aluminum, stainless steel, and steel.
• Operate hand tools and various machines in the shop.
• Understand and interpret complicated blueprints.
• Interface with other departments to accomplish tasks.
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years welding/layout experience.
• Fabricator skills to include complicated layouts, shrinkage calculations, check & straighten capability.
• Proficiency typically acquired through 5+ years of related experience in Welding/Fabrication.
