Description
The Emory Healthcare Heart and Vascular Center is seeking a talented, mid-career faculty member for Medical Director for advanced heart failure, assist devices, and heart transplantation at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital.
The candidate must be a BC/BE cardiologist, certified in Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation who enjoys direct patient care, teaching, and being part of a vigorous program with many team members.
The candidate also must have completed an accredited fellowship program in Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation.The main site of work in the heart failure program will be Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta but practice will also involve time at the transplant site, Emory University Hospital.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are vital. Candidates with clinical research experience are encouraged.
