    We are seeking a Home Health Aide to join our team.

    Responsibilities:

    Among the many personal and professional benefits of working at MPI, are the daily opportunities to transform the lives of others. As a direct care professional, some of your key responsibilities might include:

    • Providing services aimed at assisting the consumer to acquire, improve, and retain skills in self-help, general household management, meal preparation, personal finance management, socialization, and other adaptive areas. Activities are focused on allowing the consumer to improve his or her ability to reside as independently as possible in the community.
    • Assisting in activities of daily living when the consumer is dependent on others to ensure health and safety.
    • Providing services that allow the consumer to safely take part in home life or community activities.
    • Monitoring the consumers' mental/physical conditions to document and report any concerns to the appropriate staff person.
    • Accompanying consumers on leisure activities like going to the movies and attending a barbecue, for instance.
    • Assisting in the implementation of consumer goals, as specified in the consumer's care plan, such as personal grooming or building new relationships.
    • Assisting in the safe transportation of the consumers served.
    • Preparing and serving food in accordance with the consumers' diets.

    Qualifications:

    • High school or equivalent
    • Valid drivers license
