    Minimum 1+ years nursing experience required.

    Title: Registered Nurse - Extended School Year (ESY)

    Location: Milford, NH

    Dates: July 9, 2024, to August 1, 2024

    Hours: 3 hours a day, 9 hours per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

    Caseload: 1:1 Caseload - 3rd Grade female student

    Requirements:

    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire
    • Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or pediatric setting
    • Knowledge of Type 1 diabetes management and treatment protocols
    • Familiarity with Autism and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD)
    • Ability to provide individualized care and support to students with complex medical and developmental needs

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide close monitoring and treatment for a 3rd Grade female student with Type 1 diabetes
    • Administer medication and insulin as needed, following physician orders and school policies
    • Monitor blood glucose levels and respond to fluctuations appropriately
    • Collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan for the student
    • Provide education and training to school personnel regarding diabetes management and emergency procedures
    • Address the student's additional needs related to Autism and AD/HD as required
