- Verification of Turbine installation/ Solar Module Array Specifications – The inspector's main responsibility is making sure the turbine/Solar are built according to the technical specifications.
- The Quality inspector will need to perform audits and inspections in order to fulfill this responsibility.
- Main inspections consist of receiving inspection, mechanical inspections during construction/installation, final Inspections before turnover and after commissioning.
- Additional Inspections can be required based on the project and corporate requirements.
- Responsible for scheduling meetings with the customer and site manager to discuss the findings on the turbines in order to ensure continual improvement.
- Report and assist in any meetings needed with the back-office personnel and management.
- Interpret and implement quality assurance processes with relevant site personnel.
- Find, document, and follow up non-conformance occurrences.
- Follow up on effectiveness of containment and corrective actions.
- Provide support to the investigation of the nonconformance. (pictures, measurements, documents, etc).
- Verify the effectiveness of the implemented corrective action.
- Review Assembly records, commissioning reports, and component traceability for accuracy, and compliance with the contractual specifications, agreements, and milestones.
- Ensure that quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements are met.
- Read and interpret work orders, inspection manuals engineering diagrams, drawings, and schematics to determine inspection and test procedures.

- Proficient in reading and interpreting plans and specifications and comparing with the customer or engineers' standards.
- Proficient and comfortable working with computers and iPads in MS Office and learning other customer specific applications.
- Strong mechanical and electrical inspection experience.
- Legally authorized to work in the US for any employer.
- Valid US Driver's License
- Able to pass an MVR Check, Background Check, Physical, and Drug Test
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Preferred Bi-lingual English/Spanish (fluent spoken and written)
- 1-2 years of field experience in the wind industry
- 1 year in a QA/QC position performing walk-downs preferred or technical training from a wind turbine technician training program
- or technical degree related to renewable energy, primarily wind
- This job may require you to work up to 12 hr days, 5 to 6 days a week if project requires
- Able and willing to travel and stay for a minimum of 6 weeks at a time for a project
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions for up to 12hrs a day
- Must be able to wear company-provided PPE for the entire shift while onsite
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs or more at any given time throughout the day
- Must be able to walk on average 3 to 5 miles per day across rough terrain and/or unlevel surfaces

Job Description
This inspector position is a front-line customer facing role verifying the quality of our products from delivery to customer handover at our new construction project sites in the U.S. The position reports to the performance quality manager.
The quality inspector is responsible for monitoring, reporting, and evaluating various quality aspects of a project before, during, and after the installation phase.
