- Prepares food for people per day
- Preparing meals for both in-patient and retail cafeterias including casual dining
- Adheres to strict dietary guidelines as necessary
- Provides outstanding customer service, orders supplies, prepares food items and ensures proper food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Maintains cooler and freezer stock
- Works as part of a fast-paced team
- Full Ticket Service Line - need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Culinary Arts Degree OR 2+ years experience
- Current State of Washington Food Handlers card
- Serve-Safe Certified preferred
- Detail oriented
- Experience in institutional or restaurant food service preferred

A large hospital in Tacoma is looking to hire experienced Line Cooks to support their fast-paced retail cafeteria.
Overview of Responsibilities:

Schedule/Shift:
Multiple shifts available (AM/PM) - Monday - Friday (with rotating weekends)
3:30 AM - 7:30 AM start times - flexible start time, morning shift
11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Pay:
$18-27 per hour depending on experience
Contract Length:
520 Hours. Opportunity to convert to permanent hire after satisfactory completion of contract.
