    About Us:

    Soprana Rooftop Cucina is the Appalachia-meets-Alps style rooftop restaurant featuring brick oven pizza and locally sourced ingredients paired with a curation of craft beer, wines and cocktails. Perched atop the Embassy Suites in Downtown Asheville, guests will enjoy sweeping, unobstructed views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in a casual atmosphere worth visiting time and time again. It's an approachable hangout spot for locals and an inventive, only-in-Asheville setting for visitors. The restaurant opens March 2023 and is located at 192 Haywood Street, Asheville, NC 28801.

    The Role:

    As a Cook, you're not just preparing orders – you're a culinary artist, infusing passion and precision into every creation to delight our guests' palates.

    What You'll Do:

    • Prepare and execute a diverse range of dishes with precision and creativity, following our recipes and presentation standards.
    • Collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth flow of service.
    • Maintain a well-organized and clean workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
    • Ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are consistently met.
    • Embrace the challenge of delivering culinary excellence in a dynamic rooftop setting.
    • Uphold the reputation of Soprana as a culinary destination through your dedication and artistry.

    Your Skills and Style:

    • Previous experience as a Cook in a restaurant, especially in upscale or rooftop settings, is required. Previous experience in an upscale pizza establishment is a plus.
    • Your passion for culinary artistry is evident – you're dedicated to creating dishes that leave a lasting impression.
    • Precision and creativity are your hallmarks – you infuse your creations with both technique and flair.
    • You thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, delivering culinary masterpieces under pressure.
    • Strong communication skills ensure effective coordination with the kitchen team.
