Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Control Supervisor in Bartlett, IL for a growing food products supplier.If you have a background in Quality Control and a passion for high quality food products, then this is the position for youAs the Quality Control Supervisor you will:
Be responsible for the scheduling QC Technicians.
Develop Food Safety and Quality programs that result in compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures USDA, FDA GM.Ps, and customer requirementsParticipate in investigation of customer complaints.
Maintain all instruments and equipment calibration.Involvement with positive release and Hold/release productsComplete regular GMP audit of the manufacturing facilityThis is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.
Shift:
10p-6am (1 hour break) Monday- Friday
The ideal candidate will have:
3+ years of experience in quality control in food manufacturingHACCP Certification. BRC certification is a plusBasic principles of microbiology and biochemistry, organic and inorganic chemistryConfidence and leadership skills to work in a high volume production/quality area1 year of leading a team, decision makingMathematical aptitude with analytical proficiencyProfessional communication skillsBilingual
