    We are looking for an experienced Sawmill Supervisor. This position will oversee the daily operations of the sawmill, specifically emphasizing the processing of Ponderosa Pine. This position plays a critical role in maintaining safety, quality, and productivity.

    To be successful in this position you will need to posses leadership qualities and knowledge in sawmill industry.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prioritize safety in all operations, enduring efficient processing of Ponderosa Pine logs.
    • Coordinate with production teams to meet output targets while maintaining quality standards.
    • Prioritize safety compliance and adherence to company policies.
    • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for all lumber produced from Ponderosa Pine.
    • Implement corrective actions when deviations occur.
    • Train employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on sawmill operations, productivity, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
    • Other Duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in sawmill operations.
    • Strong knowledge of sawmill machinery and processes.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Safety-conscious mindset. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
