- Demonstrates the company philosophy and core values in customer service.
- Collects/handles/ processes specimens efficiently, performs result reporting, and conducts laboratory testing in various sections. Also handles blood bank procedures, reports quality control findings, and adheres to established guidelines to ensure accurate and timely testing.
- Conducts maintenance tasks, troubleshoots issues, restocks supplies, and stays updated on policies and procedures. Takes charge of professional growth and education, assists in training new personnel, and complies with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Uses computer systems appropriately for reporting laboratory results, completes annual competency assessment successfully, and on time.
- Holds an Associates Degree or higher in clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution or meets the alternative requirements specified in the CLIA regulation 42CFR.
- If a new graduate, Board Certification or eligibility is required within one year of hire, excluding Louisiana.
- Experience requirements include either completion of a clinical laboratory training program approved by relevant bodies or six months of clinical laboratory experience within the last 5 years in specific laboratory sections.

Identifies abnormal critical values and follows procedures to inform medical team members of results. Also handles clerical, general, and phlebotomy tasks related to daily laboratory operations, dispensing blood products as requested by medical staff.

The hospital is also equipped with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit that enables mothers to stay close to their premature or special needs infants during recovery.
