- Apply necessary skills and techniques for assembly of devices under rigorous QA standards
- Read, interpret, and execute work based on blueprints and schematics
- Prepare, conduct, and document product testing
- Work with the team to construct, maintain, and test systems (e.g., electrical mechanical components, equipment, etc.)
- Proactively identify and communicate concerns, improvements and feedback on the assembly process to the team.
- Comply with established safety guidelines and procedures
- Potential travel to support field operations
- Assist Facility Manager with tasks
- Building Maintenance
- Escorting Visitors
- Minor Plumbing / Electrical tasking
- Perform other miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of general maintenance work experience
- Valid California Driver's License
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance, if needed
- Proven knowledge and experience in reading and interpreting blueprints
- Proven knowledge and experience in Mechanical Assembly
- Must be organized and adhere to shop/lab floor cleanliness standards
- Self-starter with strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
- Basic computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office tool suite
- Moderate to strenuous physical effort, involving standing, sitting and use of hands while performing duties, manual dexterity, multi-climb coordination, climbing ladders, static strength (muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects), trunk strength (abdominal and lower back muscles to support the part of the body repeatedly or continuously in action), carrying or lifting up to 50 pounds
- Skilled at utilizing common hand tools (e.g.pneumatic tools, wrench, etc.) power tools (e.g., impact drill, etc.), measuring devices, and diagnostic tools
- Machine shop experience preferred (mill, lathe, etc.)
- Experience operating a forklift a plus
- Prior shipping/receiving/warehouse/inventory experience
- Experience working in an ESD controlled environment
- Facilities experience: HVAC, building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, etc.
