    Description

    Are you excited to grow your engineering career in the water/wastewater industry? GPIis seeking mid to senior-levelwater/wastewater engineers to join our growing Western Pennsylvania operations in Pittsburgh or Erie, PA.

    Review of civil engineering plans, including public infrastructure, private, commercial, and residential development plans to ensure compliance with relevant codes
    Design and prepare calculations and specifications for various water and wastewater projects, including utility pipelines, storage facilities, pumping stations, and treatment facilities
    Prepare project plans for process water/wastewater, instrumentation and controls, site plans, and utility plans to support project approval and construction
    Conduct field investigations to assess site conditions
    Participate with construction administration including project meetings, shop drawing reviews, reviewing and responding to RFP's
    Attend meetings, including staff meetings and municipal board meetings, as needed
    Mentor junior staff

    S. in Civil Engineering with a PA P.5 to 15 years of experience with Pennsylvania regulations specific to sanitary sewers, wastewater treatment, water supply systems, roads, grading, drainage, and municipal engineering
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
    Proficient in WaterCAD and SewerCAD or similar software

    #Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
    Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
