- 13-Week Contract
- 8-hour Shifts
- 7am-3pm/7am-7pm OR 3pm-11pm/7pm-7am OR 11pm-7am/7pm-7am
- Every other weekend
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform basic medical procedures such as IV insertion and wound care
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with medical imaging procedures and sonography under the supervision of a physician
- Provide case management services, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality
- Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records using ICD9 coding system
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and selfcare techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Valid LPN license in [state]
- Proven experience working as an LPN in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments and developing care plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment
- Familiarity with assisted living care practices is preferred
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle stressful circumstances with compassion and professionalism
