The RoleAs a Manufacturing / Process Engineer at Trèves, you will develop and utilize expertise in industrialization and methods to lead industrial projects into various phases.
You can expect these phases, and their associated responsibilities, to include:RFQ PhaseParticipate in process definition with the RPC (existing or innovating processes)
Summarize process information with process experts for RFQ requests (multi-products/multi-process), taking into account existing industrial equipment and their current load:
process, means, takt time, TRS, investment budgets (equipment & tooling), manpower, material consumption, energy, etc.
Obtain validation of RFQ process hypothesis by the target plant depending on chosen PDIIntegrate Lean manufacturing principles:
flows, ergonomics, flexibility, etc
Standardize industrial choices:
standards for equipment & toolingInnovation PhaseParticipate in innovative process definitionValidate industrial feasibility with Innovation EngineersAnalyze impacts of technological changesParticipate in prototype validation: pilot plant, prototype tools, etc
Benchmark:
process, equipment, toolsParticipate in quotes for innovative productsValidate RFQ hypothesis for innovative processes: process, equipment, takt time, TRS, investment budgets, equipment & tools, manpower, material consumption, energy, etc.
Industrialization PhaseValidate & standardize industrial choices for equipment & toolsParticipate in Process FMEAValidate functional & technical requirements for equipment and toolsEvaluate all refurbishment possibilities of existing equipment in the group, or second hand (GMAO database)Participate in consultations with suppliers and supplier nomination for equipment & tools in collaboration with purchasing department and plantParticipate in validation studies for equipment & tools, follow equipment & tool manufacturing, participate in acceptance & installation in the plantParticipate in layout & flow studies, taking into account plant constraintsSupport plants at different project milestones :
prototypes, pre-production, off-tools, SOPRespect RFQ commitments (investment budget for equipment & tools, industrialization planning, cost saving, etc.)
Integrate securitization questions (equipment and tools standardization) and equipment polyvalenceIntegrate Lean manufacturing principles:
flows, ergonomics, flexibility, etc.
Coordinate production transfers according to plants requestsProduct / Process Expertise PhaseCapitalize industrialization experience and share technical solutions with Engineering ManagerParticipate in product design, taking into account process constraintsSupport the product / process expertise in RFQ phase, development and serial lifeSupport Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) and Group purchasingTechnology WatchEnsure the benchmarking of tools & equipment with suppliers before equipment is brought into the plant & in conjunction with the buying teamProductivity PhaseParticipate in brainstorming workshopsProductivity pilots, to support the productivity ideas portfolio, product/process
