    Description

    Job Title

    A Pharmacist Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmacotherapy to patients. This includes supporting medication-use systems, participating in pharmacy operations, and providing education to healthcare professionals.

    Eligible candidates will be offered a sign-on bonus based on their years of experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Interpret and evaluate physician orders to prepare medications for patients.
    • Identify and report adverse drug reactions.
    • Maintain patient medication records and profiles.
    • Organize daily operational duties and supervise support staff.
    • Communicate with healthcare professionals to clarify orders.
    • Provide educational programs to healthcare professionals.
    • Fulfill prescription orders using technological resources.

    Requirements

    • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
    • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
    • Current licensure as a Pharmacist in the practicing state.
    Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $100,000 per year
